At 9:00 a.m. on April 1, 2025, the School of Economics and Management, Dongguan University of Technology, held a sprint promotion meeting for BGA international accreditation in Conference Room 4520 on the Guancheng Campus. The meeting was chaired by Associate Dean Li Wei, who is in charge of international accreditation. Attendees included all middle-level leaders of the school, department chairs, faculty members of demonstration programs, and staff from the school's two offices.
The meeting comprehensively planned and meticulously reviewed the upcoming BGA on-site visit scheduled for April 7–8, 2025. Associate Dean Li Wei first provided a detailed interpretation of the visit schedule, emphasized the importance of each step, and systematically addressed potential issues to ensure a flawless visit.
Dean Liu Jiyun pointed out at the meeting that BGA international accreditation is an important milestone for the school's development and a key measure to enhance the school's internationalization level and core competitiveness. She called on the entire school to attach great importance to the preparation and work together to ensure the successful completion of the accreditation. Dean Liu also emphasized the importance of reception details, material preparation, and communication coordination during the visit, requiring all departments to strictly follow the visit schedule to ensure seamless connections at every step.
During the meeting, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on specific matters such as reception arrangements, material presentations, and meeting procedures during the visit, and put forward several improvement suggestions. Heads of various departments expressed their commitment to spare no effort in preparing for the visit with a strong sense of responsibility and mission, showcasing the school's good image and comprehensive strength.
Finally, Lu Xiaojun, Party Secretary of the school, delivered a concluding speech. He emphasized that BGA accreditation is not only an opportunity for the school's development but also a comprehensive test of the school's overall strength. He hoped that all faculty and students would take this accreditation as an opportunity to further clarify the school's mission and vision, and take solid steps towards internationalization, specialization, and digital development.
BGA international accreditation is one of the important accreditation systems in the field of global business education, aiming to improve teaching quality, internationalization level, and research capabilities of business schools.
