On September 21, the 23rd (2024) China Financial Engineering Annual Conference and the academic conference on "Financial Innovation and New Quality Productivity", co-hosted by the China Financial Engineering Annual Conference and Chongqing University of Technology, and organized by the School of Economics and Finance of Chongqing University of Technology, was held in Chongqing. The conference attracted nearly 200 renowned experts and scholars from home and abroad to discuss current hot issues in the financial field, such as financial innovation, financial technology, new quality productivity, building a strong financial nation, and financial talent cultivation.

Professors Chen Haidong and Xu Guihua from our school were invited to attend the conference. As scholars in the field of economics and finance, they actively contributed their wisdom and strength to the conference. They presented their papers in two parallel sessions respectively and engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions with the attending experts. In addition, they served as paper discussants, providing professional and detailed comments on the research achievements of other scholars, and offering valuable opinions and suggestions.

    The participation of Professors Chen Haidong and Xu Guihua not only demonstrated the research strength and academic influence of our school in the field of economics and finance, but also further promoted exchanges and cooperation between our university and peers at home and abroad.
