Our school has a large number of remaining enrollment plans for the 2024 Master's Degree program admissions and accepts adjustment applications from candidates. All prospective students are welcome to actively apply.
I. Programs Accepting Adjustment Applications
International Business (0254), Professional Master's Degree
II. Opening Time of the Adjustment System
April 8, 2024, 00:00 – 13:00
III. Adjustment Requirements
Applicants must meet the application conditions for the corresponding adjustment program as specified in the Dongguan University of Technology 2024 Master's Degree Admissions Brochure.
Full-time programs do not accept adjustment applications from candidates applying for part-time programs.
The preliminary examination scores (both total and individual subject scores) of adjustment candidates must meet the national line for Category A candidates in the discipline of their first-choice program.
In principle, the first-choice program of adjustment candidates should be the same as or similar to the program they are adjusting into, or the preliminary examination subjects should be the same as or similar to those of the program they are adjusting into.
(1) This degree program does not accept adjustment applications from candidates whose first-choice program is any of the following professional master's degrees: Business Administration (MBA), Public Administration (MPA), Tourism Management, Engineering Management, Accounting, Library and Information Science, Auditing, or Law (Juris Master – Non-law).
(2) The following programs are considered the same as or similar to this program: International Business (0254); Political Economy (020101); History of Economic Thought (020102); Economic History (020103); Western Economics (020104); World Economy (020105); Population, Resources and Environmental Economics (020106); National Economics (020201); Regional Economics (020202); Public Finance (020203); Finance (020204); Industrial Economics (020205); International Trade (020206); Labor Economics (020207); Statistics (020208); Quantitative Economics (020209); Defense Economics (020210); Statistics (0270); Regional and Country Studies (0271); Finance (0251); Applied Statistics (0252); Taxation (0253); Insurance (0255); Asset Appraisal (0256); Digital Economy (0258).
(3) The national unified examination subjects for the preliminary examination should be the same as those for the International Business professional master's degree. Among the national unified examination subjects, the following can be considered equivalent:
(4) The institution-specific autonomous examination subjects for the preliminary examination should, in principle, be the same as or similar to the autonomous examination subjects of this program. For self-established programs or similar programs not fully listed above, decisions will be made collectively by the admissions leadership group of this degree program on a case-by-case basis.
(5) Eligible adjustment candidates will be selected for re-examination based on their preliminary examination scores in descending order. In the event of tied scores under identical conditions, all tied candidates will be included in the re-examination list. Selection will then be based on the total score of the three national unified preliminary examination subjects (Politics, English, Mathematics) in descending order (or using other screening methods).
English 201 (English I) and English 204 (English II) can be considered equivalent;
Mathematics 301 (Mathematics I), Mathematics 302 (Mathematics II), Mathematics 303 (Mathematics III), Mathematics 314 (Mathematics for Agriculture), and the Economics Comprehensive Ability Test 396 can be considered equivalent (institution-specific mathematics exams are not considered equivalent to the national unified mathematics examinations).
Candidates who applied for the "Retired College Soldier" special program and wish to adjust to the regular admission plan must have preliminary examination scores meeting the national basic score requirements for the relevant discipline in the area where the program is located. Eligible candidates may enjoy the additional points policy for retired college soldier applicants in accordance with regulations.
IV. Adjustment Procedure
(1) Application
Candidates can check the remaining enrollment plan information for programs in the adjustment system and submit an adjustment application.
(2) Selection
The school will send re-examination notices through the adjustment system management platform to adjustment candidates initially selected for re-examination. If an adjustment candidate has already accepted an admission notice from another institution, they will be deemed to have voluntarily given up their adjustment application. Candidates must accept or decline the re-examination notice within the specified time in the adjustment system. Failure to confirm within the time limit will be considered automatic forfeiture of re-examination qualification, and the school may revoke the re-examination notice and admit substitute candidates. If a re-examination notice becomes invalid due to the candidate's personal failure to confirm in time, the candidate shall bear the responsibility.
The list of adjustment candidates who accept the re-examination notice will be published on the school's website.
(3) Re-examination
Re-examination method: On-site re-examination.
Re-examination schedule: The re-examination is planned to take place on April 11. Please refer to the school's website for the specific re-examination schedule.
(4) Admission Notice
The list of candidates to be admitted will be sent an admission notice through the adjustment system. Candidates should closely monitor notifications in the adjustment system and must accept or decline the admission notice within the time specified in the notice. Failure to confirm within the time limit will be deemed automatic forfeiture of the admission qualification, and the university will revoke the admission notice and offer the place to the next-ranked candidate who meets the admission conditions. If an admission notice becomes invalid due to the candidate's personal failure to confirm in time, the candidate shall bear the responsibility. If a candidate has already accepted an admission notice from another institution, they will be deemed to have voluntarily given up their admission qualification.
V. Other Explanations
The lock period for adjustment applications in our school is 36 hours. During the lock period, unlocking is not generally permitted. After 36 hours, the system will automatically unlock the application. If a candidate has a strong request for unlocking, they may submit a written application to the school, and the school will decide whether to unlock it.
The number of adjustment candidates admitted for re-examination is generally twice the number of remaining enrollment places.
In principle, the school does not accept requests from candidates who have accepted our school's admission notice through the adjustment system to unlock their status and give up their admission qualification.
